The European Union was founded in 1954 and its headquarters are in Brussels. Among the countries that belong to it there are The Great Britain, Spain, Portugal, Germany, France, Belgium, and so on Romania and Bulgaria and probably Turkey will become members in the future. Politicians say that Romania's integration in the EU will take place in 2007 if the conditions of joining are fulfilled. After that is said that Romania's integration will have advantages and disadvantages. I shall start by mentioning the advantages: Romania's currency will be the same as in all European countries, the euro will bring financial balance in our country and which will make economic exchanges easier. Like the other members Romania will have the same political system based on a real democracy and Romanian parties will be members of European parties and the same laws in the field of economy. We are supposed to have a powerful market economy and this can be done by reducing the corruption that has brought us so much damage and increasing productivity.
