An individual can also be a leader without being a manager. This paper will discuss the roles and responsibilities of leaders in creating and maintain a healthy organizational culture. The difference between management and leadership will be conveyed. The roles of managers and leaders in maintaining healthy organizational cultures will be described. The four functions of management and their support of the healthy organizational culture will be explained. And, lastly, two strategies that can be used by organizational managers and leaders to help maintain the healthy organizational culture will be recommended.
