Hearing the word geography tends to conjure up thoughts of mountains, rivers, maps, and grassy plains. But geography is something much more than that. It is the world around humans as a whole. It is home. Where houses are built and memories are made. But with this, as well as anything else on earth, comes cause and effect. With one thing happening, another thing is being affected by it. In this scenario, either humans change geography or geography changes humans. But which is it? Yes, geography may change humans by causing natural disasters, containing fossil fuels, and creating obstacles, but humans change geography more so by altering the world to make it meet their needs for survival, burning and using most of what the earth naturally makes, and by building and constructing ways to go through geography's barriers. In all truthfulness, geography does not adapt to humans and automatically provide them with what they need, humans change their environment to what they need in order to make survival more comfortable and convenient.
