An Inconvenient Truth is a movie about global warming. It supports the fact that global warming exists. Al Gore has gathered a plethora of evidence supporting his theory. One of his mains points was the Earth's atmosphere is so skinny that we, the people of the planet, can change it's basic molecular structure. Especially from the amount of Carbon dioxide we put in the air. Carbon dioxide is one the greenhouse gases. The sun's rays enter the atmosphere and heat up the surface of the earth and then some of those rays are re-radiated back out of the atmosphere. Because of the greenhouse gases more of the infrared rays are trapped heating up the planet due to the thicker atmosphere now. When the Northern Hemisphere is toward the sun, during summer and spring, the leaves are all out on the trees and the leaves take in the carbon dioxide in the atmosphere thus the carbon dioxide levels are lower around the world.
