In the film Looking for Alibrandi is directed by Kate Woods, which is about an Italian Australian 17 year old girl, Josie who is searching for her identity. There are differences and similarities between the beginning and end. Many film techniques are used to show the changes from the beginning to the end, such as many camera shots, colour, music and sounds. In the film there are many similarities between the begging scene and the ending scenes. These scenes are both set in Josie's Nona, Katia Aibrandi's backyard in the afternoon. Both of these scenes are set at the same time of the year and are on Tomato day, on both of these same days all of the family members and friend were all wearing bright coloured aprons, and wear casual clothes. In the Looking for Alibrandi, there are many key differences compared to the beginning and the ending in this film. The plane that leaves in the beginning scene, emphasizes on how Josie wants to leave Tomato day and to join her friends, in comparison, in the ending scene the plane is landing which further emphasizes on how Josie and her friends......
