John Locke Theory - THeory of Justice Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report

Theory of Justice is about philosophy and ethics that was developed by John Rawls entailing the conception of justice as fairness. Theory of Justice encompasses both Kantian and utilitarian philosophy. When talking about everyday life it is felt that reality and conception dont mesh well. When it pertains to the justice side of criminals that are punished, criminals will receive a sentence that is not ethical appropriate in reality it is much less than deserved. In this paper it will discuss the theories, utilitarian along with modern and societal justice. Justice Theories The principle justice theories that will be discussed will be the Liberty Principle and the Difference Principle: "The Liberty Principle provides for basic and universal respect for persons as a minimum standard for all just institutions. All persons should be morally equal, and that in the so called real world there are major differences between individuals that under the conditions of liberty will lead to social and economic inequalities (Wofford.edu).The liberties call for each person to......
