George Walker Bush was born on July 6, 1946 in New Haven, Connecticut. He grew up in Houston, Texas with four younger siblings: Jeb, Neil, Marvin, and Dorothy. He had another sister, but she died of Leukemia at age 3. Bush was educated at Phillips Academy and Yale University and during his time at Yale he was President of the Delta Kappa Epsilon and was also apart of the Skull and Bones Society. Throughout his freshman year he played baseball and then rugby during his Junior and Senior years. Bush had an SAT score of 1206, which is about 200 points below the average Yale Students score and 70th percentile nationwide. He was granted admission to Yale mainly because Yale’s admission policy stating that preference was to be given to children of alumni. After graduating Yale he received a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
After graduate school Bush began to have alcohol problems and continued to have them up until the day his daughters were born where he says that since then he hasn’t had a drop. Howeve......
