Ryan Wilson English 101-18 3/10/05 Christmas of 2000 Christmas is seen as the holiday for giving, and my Christmas of 2000 is one I will never forget. My eighth grade class decided to help out a family for the holidays. I never knew such a project would have the effect on me that it did. I was chosen to buy gifts for the little boy of the family; he was six years old. The family also consisted of two parents and two other girls; one was around thirteen, the other just an infant. I ended up buying more gifts for this one little boy than I have ever bought for anybody in my lifetime. I want to share how this Christmas impacted me so much by describing my feeling when I first showed up, what the family had before I came, the look on that little boy�s face, and how this Christmas made me appreciate everything I have. It was just a regular winter Friday morning. There were a few inches of snow on the ground, the sun was shining, and I was going to a family�s home for a class assignment.
