Adler founded a school of thought called Individual Psychology, which included many theories such as The Strive for Perfection, The Inferiority Theory, and Inferiority Complex. At a time of heavy Freudian Theories, Alfred Adler broke off from these and opposed many of Freud�s theories such as the importance of the conscious mind, different therapy methods, the aggressive instinct and Freud�s reductionism personality theory. Throughout Adler�s studies, he always noted a heavy importance on social interest and relationships; in fact it became of his leading concepts throughout his theories. Alfred Adler was a holistic thinker who rose above the rest with his realistic, acceptable explanation of human behaviour and motivation. Why do some people achieve success will others fail?
