Parents vs. Potter: The Parental Outcry Potter mania has caused a lot more than crowds at the local Barnes & Noble. Many parents as well as Christian leaders are protesting the existence of these books in schools and libraries, because of their �forceful� occult themes. Sighting, a track record of children�s susceptibility to bad influences, these community leaders have waged full war-like tactics against Rowling�s books. Some of these incidents include book bans throughout entire school districts, pulling kids from Christian affiliated schools and sadly enough, book burnings.
