My life as a horse: Hi! My name is Snickers. I am a 15 year old Quarter Horse gelding. I have brown hair and the thing that hangs off of my butt is black (humans call it a tail). I am going to tell you about my encounter with life. As a baby, I had the perfect life, as far as I was concerned. I went outside, ate grass, came in, and got oodles of attention from my humans. My humans think that they control me but they have another thing coming. I control them. I have the ability to buck, rear, or run them into the walls. My humans attached a long lead line to my halter and sent me around them in a huge circle. This is called longing. An imperative part in little ones first training. Training! Yeah right! I am still going to be very tenacious and hard to get along with. If I get enough treats I might just be respectful towards my humans. I hated training.My mother told me that I needed my training if I was ever going to become a superior western pleasure horse and be able to compete against the best horses out there.
