Imagine someone is lying in a beautiful green meadow. It�s a perfect day, the sun is shining and there is a gentle breeze wafting trough the trees all around them. Sounds of nature fill the air as they chat and laugh with their family and friends. They are surrounded by people that they love and respect and who love and respect them. They are completely happy, and totally relaxed. Now imagine a very different scene. It�s the dead of night; they are alone walking down a dimly-lit road. There is nowhere to go on either side of them, and who knows what could be watching them or is waiting to pounce on them. They are terrified for their life, heightening their senses. This causes their sight and hearing to become much more sensitive. Their breathing and heartbeat have become more rapid, they feel light-headed and dizzy. They want to vomit, and their limbs feel shaky and their body is now charged with energy, ready to fight or flee, possibly for their life.
