Life Will Find a Way Should scientists be allowed to produce life from a test tube? This question has been raised in several literary works throughout time dating back to Mary Shelly�s Frankenstein, Huxley�s A Brave New World, Capek�s R.U.R., and as recently as Creighton�s Jurassic Park. All of the authors of these books/play go about the creation of life for in a sense the betterment of our society. In the case of Jurassic Park it was for entertaining society, as well as advancement in science. Unfortunately, in all of these books, the creations within them turn for the worse and ultimately become a threat to society. Although all of these are works of fiction, authors continue to bring up the question and idea of whether society is ready for this so called artificial intelligence. By comparing Capek�s play R.U.R. to Creighton�s/Spielberg�s Jurassic Park, it will be shown that what most people give credit to God for doing, human beings should not tamper with the creation of life unless through natural ways.
