This is just one of the many cultural songs we sang in our first quarter for Lander Valley High School Chorale. I think that this piece of Renaissance music was extremely cultural. The meaning of �we adore thee, o Christ� has a strong meaning to me, not just because I was raised a Catholic and have been singing pieces of Renaissance music since I was four years old, no, because truly, most Christians should be proud to say that. When I first got introduced to this song in August I thought it would be a confusing and illiterate song, only because it was not in English. Then I learned the meaning of the words of the song. This made me feel extremely comfortable with singing it.
