When one attempts to discern whether a particular decision is right or wrong, one is essentially assigning that issue a moral value. International politics upholding the �realist� tradition of normative thought would claim that the concept of politics is devoid of a righteousness and in the rare instances, which it is found, it is due to the apparent uniformity which emanates from state self-interest. However, if one tends to adhere to a more idealist disposition which infers directly upon the issue of NATO�s intervention as one which achieved a greater sense of awareness for humanitarian concerns and seemingly weakened a defiant autocrat with deviant aspirations of a heterogeneous state, achieved through ethnic cleansing then NATO proceeded on the correct course of action.
