Budget Deficit Economics for Business I ECO/360 Budget Deficit Introduction The subject of my paper is budget deficit. To start, I would like to define the words budget and deficit. Next, I will describe how the government is spending the budget annually and how a deficit occurs. I will also analyze two other topics, President Bush�s plan to regulate the deficit and balance the budget, and a politician�s point of view about Bush�s proposal. To conclude, I will state my point of view on the budget deficit issue. Discussion Webster�s Dictionary defines budget as �a projection of anticipated need or use, often financial� (2005). For ordinary people it usually means to have a plan for future spending such as monthly bills, grocery shopping, vacation, or other individual or family needs.
