Holbrook, Pg.1 Chronic Fatigue Syndrome I am writing my essay on a medical condition called Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. The condition usually affects people usually beginning in the younger years. With all the current medical technology available today, there is very little knowledge about this flu like onset of symptoms that can and often do develop into a chronic, disabling life-changing event. In the early spring of the year 2000, I along with a handful of family members and friends began to put a surprise birthday party together for a very close friend of ours. We were looking especially forward to this party as the guest of honor, although turning 36 had never had a surprise party held in their honor.
