Guatemala is the third largest country in Central America. It is made up of three types of geographic regions: Highlands, lowlands, and a costal plain, although Guatemala is mainly mountains. They like to preserve the Native Indian culture or color, flavor, and music. Some exports that they produce in Guatemala are coffee (smoky and spicy), Cardamom (a spice in the ginger family), bananas, and cotton. Six years later a 36 year civil war broke out between the Guatemalan army and the Guatemalan guerillas. The Guatemalans ended up murdering over 200,000 civilians for land, information and game.
