Ethics is a huge field of moral philosophy in which ancient philosophers; like Plato felt human well-being, was the highest aim in which virtues, the requisite skills and character-traits to attain eudaimonia. Such ethics require the constant vigilance of analyzing and dissecting concepts of right and wrong behaviors to attain moral values. Such ethical values where then named the central core to philosophy. The dictionary definition states: Ethics is the study of general morals and moral choices of people based on moral philosophy. (Cooper, 2004) Philosophers in the world today attempt to break down ethical theories into three categories: metaethics, normative ethics and applied ethics. q Metaethics investigates the roots of our moral principles and how to interpret them. Have they evolved from social interactions and terms of acceptance? Have they derived from our emotional expressions?
