Americans are renowned for their high demand for almost grotesquely-large assets and services; including the craving for enormous, gas-guzzling Sport Utility Vehicles, supermarkets, and the occasional shopping mall that competes in size with many smaller European towns. This popular, yet resource-depleting way of life has recently expanded to incorporate the real-estate sector.
