Hinduism and Buddhism have many similarities and many differences. They compare in creation, social organization, and reincarnation. They are different in social organization and in creation story but similar in reincarnation beliefs. Although Buddhism originated from Hinduism, there are many similarities and differences. Each of the religions arose from different beginnings. The Buddhism creation was a simple one. Siddhartha Gautama was the son of the head of the Sakya warrior caste. Gautama found his existence dull, and after a while, he left home and began wandering in search of enlightenment. One day Gautama met an aged man, a sick man, and a corpse and realized that suffering is the common thing of men. He met a monk and was determined to adopt the monk�s way of life and family, wealth, and power. This decision is known as the Great Renunciation in the Buddhism religion.
