Truth about teenagers This is my life Well the one everyone sees…or should I say the life they don’t see… In everyone’s eyes I am your average teenager, who obeys their parents’ rules, curfews…whatever. I go to school, I make the grades, and I have good friends. No drugs, no sex, no alcohol…blah, blah, blah. Who am I really, I mean who is this person I see everyday in the mirror? I have been asking myself this question for years, maybe my whole life. From my perspective, no one knows who I am, I hardly do. In all honesty, I think everyone has a fake outer layer, and nobody really knows anybody, let alone know themselves. It’s a crazy world; everyone wants to find themselves, but more importantly than that, everyone wants to fit in. We all try to fit into this mold of what society wants, well actually tells us to be. In our struggle to fit into this cookie cut out world, we find ourselves becoming people we really don’t understand, people who don’t know what they want, just what everyone else wants us to be.
