Researchers from gradeinflation.com study showed that the average GPAs at Duke University was 2.7 in 1969 and increased to 3.3 in 1996; at Leigh University, it was 2.6 in 1972 and rose to 2.9 in 1996; at Pacific Lutheran University it was 2.99 in 1974 and went to 3.2 in 1996; at UC Berkeley it was 2.95 in 1986 and went up to 3.10 in 1996; at the University of Washington, it was 2.31 in 1964 and was up to 3.12 in 1996.
