Hello! My name is Ruben Felix, a student of yours. I would like to tell you a little bit about my shoes and why they represent who I am and where am I going. These shoes best represent some of my characteristics and my plans for the future. I can remember regionals for cross-country like if it happened yesterday. I was running regionals at Coronado High School and I was getting towards the end of the race. My shins hurt from the beginning of mid-season and I was getting cramps too. Hell, I even threw up three times when I got to the last part of the race where the fans are cheering you on. I hate to say it but we did not make it to state. It did not really matter to me because I got 35 out of 70 which was really good for me being that I was hurt. Plus, I was determined and believed in myself and never gave up. Another time I had some problems with a floppy disk. I had about 3 computer assignments and I did not own a computer. The day that the assignments were due the disk messed up.
