In history, there were many wars. Among them there where, the American Revolution, the very first war of this country, and the world wars, both started in Europe. There were also the crusades, or the holy wars during the middle ages, and the war that just recently ended in Iraq. But perhaps the most pointless war was the war of 1812 fought in the United States. Several events led up to this war, but one of the main causes of this war was that Britain and France were at war, and America was trading with both of them, while trying to remain neutral, and we have sort of a reputation for doing that now. To allow America to trade with a country that Britain was at war with, unless they were before the war (which they weren�t) was against an old British policy that said they couldn�t do that. To prevent America from trading, the British set up a blockade around the entire coast, which didn�t work, so, the British ships pulled back and waited around France, where they could impress the American ships (impress in this case means capture and make the crew work for them) To keep......
