TULANE ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT The Tulane University Athletic Department is an organization that is widely regarded throughout Tulane University, New Orleans, Louisiana, and the nation. Tulane Athletics features sixteen different sports for Tulane athletes to participate in. Students and fans attend the sporting events to watch their favorite athletes and teams. What most people do not see of Tulane Athletics are the people who actually run the athletic department. Tulane Athletics has approximately 111 employees in many different departments within the organization. There are departments for marketing, facilities & event management, ticketing, administrative services, business operations, trainers, and media. All of these departments are meant to help in making Tulane Athletics respectable within college competition. They aid athletes and coaches so that Tulane Athletics can succeed in all sports.
