Two Special Events There are two events in my life that display great use of facial management techniques. I will share my experiences saying farewell to my husband as he departed to Iraq and my fun filled wedding shower. Even though one can identify my use of facial management in these extraordinary events, one must be aware of the frequent use of these techniques throughout day to day activities. After a two months separation between my husband and me, we received disappointing news. My husband, Jarvis, had been selected to receive military orders for one year deployment to Iraq. Immediately, I was saddened by the idea. We had problems but I never imagined being separated by seas. I couldn�t let him leave the states still upset with the outcome of our marriage. Months passed and the day arrived for his departure. We were back on speaking terms by then. I pulled myself together for that day. I neutralized my true feelings of deep sadness.
