I am a father of two daughters and one son. I witnessed two births; my son and my oldest daughter. Not being able to see my youngest daughter�s birth effects me today. My son is the oldest. He was born on February 2, 2001 at St. Joseph Hospital in Milwaukee, WI. His mother named him Armani Malik Ealy X. He wasn�t conceived vaginally. His mother got a cesarean, because the umbilical cord was wrapped around his neck. For Armani to survive, he had to be surgically removed from her stomach. His mother had many contractions. I could see she was in pain. With the help of anesthesia she was conscious the whole surgery. I watched as the doctor and nurses started the surgery. The surgery caused me to feel a little nauseous. I talked, held her hand, and recorded the pregnancy on video. Armani was born looking lifeless at first. ......
