Creative writing story beginning I sit up: sweat dribbling into my eyes; I�d dreamt it again; the same black car smashing into a mysterious man, the same hooded guy on the dark pavement laughing his deep, throaty laugh. Every night the dream would end with this and I would sit bolt upright, sweating like I�d run a marathon. Rain pounds the ceilings and walls like someone�s throwing a hundred rocks at a time at my house. I roll over and look at the time: 3.15AM, same as usual. Every night is the same: go to sleep for a couple of hours, dream the same dream, wake up and watch TV or indulge myself in my own thoughts for the rest of the night. Tonight I�m going to think. The dream, what does it mean? I assume the man getting run over is me; otherwise there would be no point in the dream, but the other guy in the shadows? I have no idea. And who was it running me over? It must be deliberate because the car was going at such pace. Am I dead as a result? Oh well. I sigh, it�s only a dream. * I wake up.
