A good friend is someone you enjoy spending time with. There are many qualities in a good friend, such as: honesty, forgiveness, respect, and loyalty. In this essay, I am going to define what is a good friend and the qualities of a good friend. If you and your friend were going shopping and she tries on a dress and ask if she looks fat in it, if you can tell her an honest opinion and she doesn�t get angry but respects your opinion that�s a good friend. Forgiveness is a quality a good friend should have; it means to give up wanting to punish someone for his or her behavior. A good friend should always be able to forgive for example, if you accidentally spill juice all over your friends favorite dress and she forgives you she is a good friend. Forgiveness and honesty are very important qualities a good friend should have. A good friend should also have the ability to understand you. If you go to a friend with a problem she should be able to understand how you feel and be able to help you.
