�CLONING� A clone is a group of organisms that are genetically same. Most clones formed of new organism develops from only one parent. Cloning was just an idea until scientists in Scotland cloned a sheep and later in Oregon cloned a monkey. The first successful experiment involved a leopard frog took place in, 1952 with from the institute for cancer research in Philadelphia(Lawren).There are also some types of natural cloning. Like if the body of starfishes is cut up in five arms, each arm will regenerate a complete individual. Another type in human beings, is the formation of twins, triplets and so on. We can say that humans have learned cloning from nature. Like other innovations cloning also has a lot of benefits as well as a lot of drawbacks. Benefits include possibility of learning to renew damaged cells , create humans to act as organ donors , unproductive couples will be able to have offspring but the disadvantages of cloning are more powerful than the advantages and they can over come them.
