Romeo and Juliet was written by William Shakespeare. It is a play that was written with a strong sense of elegance and compassion. This play shows how prejudice can lead to escalating violence. From reading the play, Romeo and Juliet, when the feuding families, the Montague�s and the Capulets feud, disruption, injuries, fighting and death occur. As well, the animosity against the two families never seems to get resolved due to the fact that they are strong, long time enemies. The prejudice started in Scene One, of Act One, when the Capulet�s and Montague servants confronted one another. The Capulet servants insult the Montague�s which lead to a street brawl involving the two feuding families. Later on in Scene One of Act three, the intolerance between the families got worse, going beyond border line terrible and to the point that it is just simply ridiculous. When Tybalt sought revenge with the Montague�s, he confronted Romeo and as well as Mercutio and started a duel. In addition, the prejudice between the Montague�s and the Capulets went bey......
