Racism and hatred are two very strong words that could hurt anyone. Racism went on in history a long time ago and unfortunately still goes on today. In Night, racism and hatred are two topics that really relate to this book. It shows that racism and hatred can lead to big disasters. In Night, millions of Jews were sent to concentration camps and many died because of the hatred toward them. Racism was shown later in the book when Elie and his father were on a boat on their way to another concentration camp. On their way Elie Noticed a lady throwing money on the ground and said �The Passengers on our boat were amusing themselves by throwing coins to the natives... I suddenly noticed that two children were begged in a death struggle, I turned to the lady, please I begged; don�t throw anymore money!� (Night, By Elie Wiesel, Page 95, Paragraph 4) When the lady herd him scream this she responded �Why not?
