The Legacy Never Written The early years of Robert Frost�s life were full of poverty. The poverty of those years gave him the ambition to become more than a chicken farmer. His efforts were met with great success. This paper describes the influences on Robert Frost�s poetry, which led to his great achievement in the poetic society. These influences include the poverty of his family, the variety of jobs he had, and the loss of his family Robert Frost was one of the many great poets of his time. He was man who struggled for achievement above all else and suffered so much loss in his family. Robert Lee Frost was born in San Francisco, California, on March 26, 1874. He was the son of William Prescott Frost and Isabelle Moodie Frost. Due to his parents fascination with the confederate army, Frost was named after the confederate general, Robert E. Lee. When we think of all that Frost has accomplished through his works, we think he must have had a incredible father for a role model. This was not the case with Robert Frost, his father, William Frost, was a drunk and a gambler......
