Justice is a right to be treated with fairness and rightness. Citizens in most civilized nations, have a right to be treated with justice regarding punishment and reward. Uncivilized nations do not treat their citizens with fairness regarding punishment. Often, justice is held by one ruler who makes his own laws based on his own “fancies,” or capriciousness in the story. “The Lady or the Tiger,” by Frank Stockland, the king ruled his nation with his own fickled laws, unlike our justice system.
The King’s law is that the accused person determines their own fate. If they pick the door with the Tiger behind it, then they are found guilty of whatever charge they were up against. If they choose the door with the hot chick or the handsome man behind it, then they are found innocent and are acquitted of all charges. I personally don’t agree with this method of enforcing the law. In this case, someone who should be found guilty of a crime, can be found innocent if they pick the right door.
