Lehigh University carried out a study on Kids with Autism, to determine the behavior out come of two different authority variables, parents and school districts. Their was 63 kids that were selected two ways kids who were in public school and kids who were in private schooling. This 36 kids were then divided into 4 different groups two of which were control groups and the other two the experimental groups. Both experimental groups went through all trials. The two control groups were either disciplined by their parents or their school district. The school district would punish or discipline a child by normal school means such as detention, after school detention, and DMC. The parents disciplinary manner was carried out by having conversations describing good and wrong behavior, taking objects from them or simply ignoring their pleads. Dr. O. Ivara lovass administer one of the 5 trials of discreet therapy, which were done after the child had been punished. This test would encourage the child to have made the same action that got him/her in trouble and observe the Childs decision.......
