GOLF DISCRIMINATION Golf is a very interesting sport that attracts many people to the game. The game was passed on to America in 1888 from the Scots who made up the name “golf”, but did not create the game (Golf Goes International). Then the sport went nation wide in America through the years and the interest came from different races, genders, and ages. The sport gave people away to relax, compete, and have fun at the same time. As time went by, players of the game discriminated against people for inappropriate reason. Some people just couldn’t play the game with certain people because of their race, gender, or age. Plain and simple, some white men wouldn’t allow a black man to play in the same golf club where he was playing, which is very unfair. Women were treated the same, but the male did not have to be white; he could be black or any other minority who felt that men should have their own golf club.
