Fried Chicken Dinner Frying chicken is usually not one of my favorite things to do, but since the time consuming dish is a family favorite around my house, I seem to get through it at least once or twice a month. Not only do the men in my house like the chicken, they like to have mashed potatoes, gravy, and corn all for one meal. I first start with watching the newspaper for the grocery store ad to see when whole, boneless, skinless chicken breasts are on sale. Once I see what store will run the sale, I go and purchase the chicken, potatoes, flour, eggs, milk, and corn. Usually I have the eggs, milk, and flour, but I always check to be sure before leaving the house to go to the store. When I get home with all the goodies to start the meal, I clean the potatoes, peel them and put them in a pan of water to boil. Everyone likes to eat quite a bit and they really like the leftovers, so I will try and peel around twelve to fifteen potatoes to cook. After getting that going, I start with the chicken. I first cut the chicken up into nugget type pieces; not quite as small, but not quite ....
