In this essay I will be describing what life would be like without the law or people to enforce it. The law is like a set of rules laid down to keep society in order. The government employs people to make sure the law is followed correctly. The people most involved with the law are: policemen, judges, magistrates, lawyers, solicitors, Law Lords, parish councils, local Government and central Government. The law has been around for thousands of years. The most basic of laws would be the �Ten commandments�. The Government is coming up with different solutions to each problem very gradually, their way of solving a problem is to create or find a law to prevent it. One of the increasing problems in society is anti-social behavior; the Government tries to tackle this problem by enforcing anti-social behavior orders (ASBOs). Many people feel that this is caused by a lack of discipline by parents. The Youth Service and Connexions are trying to prevent young people having difficulties by explaining the laws that govern young people to them through youth clubs and Youth Offending Teams.....
