This issue in the United States interests me because I grew up in a very diverse neighborhood, and was faced with racial and discriminatory problems everyday. Many considered the Hispanics in my neighborhood �spics� and �Mexicans�, when in fact they could be of any Hispanic origin. Of course, along with this, there was a name that every race could be called. I never understood racial discrimination and isolation. Many people argue that mass immigration should be stopped or slowed because of the many problems associated with mixing our cultures.
