Immigration along with racism issues such as the Sacco and Vanzetti incident continued to be an ongoing problem. The Scopes Monkey trial, in Dayton, Tennessee dramatically rattled American views and opinions. The 1920�s may very well be the most bitter and dark decade in U.S. history. The fear of different races became an ongoing problem in the early 20�s. Groups such as blacks, Jews, and Catholics contributed immensely to immigration.
