Fear of losing privacy was the number one concern of most people who went on-line, as well as the chief worry of a majority of those who chose not to go on-line at all, according to a survey of American Internet users by the Center for Communication Policy at the University of California, Los Angeles. The amount of trust people had in the Internet was linked to the amount of time they spent using it, the survey showed.
