The author says that business position of privilege in America society threatens our democracy in at least four ways. He says that the Pluralist fell that they are truly represented in government agenda on policy decisions, and that when policy is determined that is almost always determined in favor of large business, he also says that business power undermines citizens in there ability to think freely and fourth. That business privileged results in policy that aids only the business and usually in time hurts the greater amount of the population. In the first way, business is said to be a threat to democracy.
