To watch a Broadway show in New York City is something I�ve longed for ever since I moved to the east coast. Growing up on theatre and being involved in various musicals I�ve adapted a strong love for the theatre arts. On Thursday, November 8th, 2007, I watched Monty Python�s Spamalot, the Broadway version of the comedy group�s Monty Python and the Holy Grail. I was lucky enough to catch it before the stagehands went on strike because Spamalot was one of the many shows on strike. The Shubert Theatre where the play was held was a very small theatre. As a cheap college student, I purchased balcony tickets for my boyfriend and I. It being a small theatre, balcony was not bad at all. Although at the Shubert Theatre, there are poles within the seats which, I think, support the ceiling. To my luck, the pole was right in front of my face and it soon became a great inconvenience. I noticed the balcony section was not filling up and I remembered a situation when I watched a different musical; we could be allowed to move right before the show if there were plenty of seats left to fill.
