From the moment his father died to the last act of his own death, Hamlet is plagued with doubts, depression, and unhappiness. Stated by Don Nardo in his interpretation, �His father, whom he idolized, has been snatched away from him; he feels alienated by his mother and uncle; and his relationship with his girlfriend is falling apart.� (75). These factors, along with others, trusted Hamlet into a state of uneasiness and created a melancholy that caused his downfall.
