Should we have Exams or not? I personally think that exams are not the best method of determining a student�s knowledge and abilities. The process of being examined is scary and unhealthy as it puts an enormous amount of pressure on the students and often their parents as well. To think that a student must demonstrate his or her knowledge in a few hours does not bring out the best in them. We have all read of reports in papers of young students taking their lives if they fail their exams or feel that they have not done well. I have heard that people who do their tenth grade board exams can get very few marks and then in the eleventh grade pass with flying colours. The students should be relieved after their studies are over but that is not the case in our system, the students have more tension to look forward to. Sometimes when students sit for their exams they know a lot about the subject but when it comes down to writing it it`s a different story. Since they are very nervous they end up not writing the answer or not writing as well as they could if they were not under so m....
