There are six levels of learning according to the teachings of Benjamin J. Bloom. Bloom�s taxonomy lists the levels of learning from the simplest behavior to the most complex. These levels are evaluation, synthesis, analysis, application, comprehension, and knowledge. Throughout this paper, I will discuss each of these levels of learning and help you to understand the instructional methods that are focused on the individual levels of learning. Evaluation In this level, students make judgments about the value of the ideas that are being presented. Some of the Instructional Methods that I believe illustrate an evaluation level of learning are, role playing, observation, and small discussion groups. During role playing the observers have the opportunity to provide feedback to the participants about their behavior. Observation allows for similar feedback to be given about tasks and behaviors.
