He is hesitant because he does not know what is going to happen to him when the kingdom finds out what happen. So he gradually but slowly succeeds with his fathers� request even when he is struggling. Hamlet�s slow reaction on succeeding to seek revenge for his fathers death shows that sometimes things are easier said then done, you want to get the job done but at The ghost asks Hamlet to seek revenge on Claudius because he was the answer to Hamlets fathers� death.
