The Heavenly Man, an inspirational and a heroic story of how God took Liu Zhenying, or Brother Yun, a starving boy out of a poor village in Henan Province, China, to spread the gospel in spite of the horrible opposition of the government. The story starts when Yun visits the grave of a great missionary that was sent to china, that's when he had a flashback about his life. God called him to spread the gospel at the age of sixteen. At that time his father had lung cancer which made their situation even harder. Yet God used him and his father was healed. Now, at that time in China the Cultural Revolution has already started, so preaching was banned. He wanted to know more about that Jesus who saved his father, so he started to look for a Bible. Yet, because of the Cultural Revolution, owning a Bible was banned. If caught with one, you will be tortured in front of the whole town. Yet some people hid it. His mother remembered a person who had a Bible. He went and asked him, but the man was scared that Yun might be a spy for the government....
