Abstract This research project is based on causes of suicide and prevention methods. It focuses on young adults (age 18-30) and adolescents (age 12-18) but also refers to the elderly (age 65-99) and adulthood (age 30-65). Since many of the symptoms and reasons are similar in all age groups and gender, it is possible to generalize. The material covered are such causes as unemployment, family collapse and interpersonal relationship problems etc. Also provided are the definitions of the four stages leading suicide. The prevention methods are only a sample of the available possibilities. "She had said that her walk had been to enduring.
